I can't tell from the logs exactly what's happened.
#Resolve myaccounts com cbcollects driver
In that case, if you then copied the project data from the bad driver into the new drive, the files would have been upgraded to 17, and would not work in 16.Īnd perhaps even if you installed 17 first, and it created the 'Local Database" and then you installed 16.2.8 and moved the project data over, it still wouldn't work. If you think the projects you've moved are really from Resolve 16, then perhaps when you installed Resolve on the new drive, you installed 17 first, and it created a Resolve 17 based "Local Database". it will work poorly in OpenCL mode, but be much slower and likely some things won't work properly. On an unrelated note, your Quadro 4000 GPU GPU does not support CUDA 11, so will not properly work with Resolve version 16.2.7 and higher. It looks like those projects are in Resolve 17 format, and you have 16.2.8 installed, so they are not going to work, as they are not backwards compatible. I am using Reslove 17 and I can't find my database in this location. Kept off the main system drive.ĭwaine Maggart wrote:Assuming you were using the default "Local Database" disk database, your projects will be in individual folders in the Resolve Projects\Users\guest\Projects folder. This might also be a good time to mention database backups, and for critical ongoing long term projects, nightly Project Export backups.

If Resolve 16 is the only version you've ever had on the system, the Resolve Projects will be here:Ĭ:\Users\\AppData\Local\Roaming\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Resolve Disk DatabaseĪssuming you've built a new hard drive, and performed a fresh Resolve 16 install on it, the new Resolve Projects folder will be in the location above.įind all the individual project folders on the original hard drive, in whichever of the 2 locations above they are in, and copy them to the new C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Roaming\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Resolve Disk Database\Resolve Projects\Users\guest\Projects folder. If you were ever using a Resolve version earlier than 16, then the Resolve Projects folder should be located here:Ĭ:\ProgramData\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Support\Resolve Disk Database

Assuming you were using the default "Local Database" disk database, your projects will be in individual folders in the Resolve Projects\Users\guest\Projects folder.
